The Book of Gromsen

As many of you know, Phil moves here this week! I am so excited to live with him and Sam and can't believe it's finally here! We have been waiting 6 long months with lots of traveling back and forth so it will be so nice to have him here!

We decided that living with 2 people, 2 dogs, and a cat is not feasible in 715 sq ft. So, we are going to move into a brand new apartment in the complex! It's a 2 bed 2 bath, which somehow I forgot to mention to Phil and he was so stoked for a second bathroom. Who knew men cared about shower curtains?!?!? He immediately stated "I call we get to get my favorite Target shower curtain!" Well, alright then! I love a man with a sense of style and strong opinions. We have officially named the 2nd bedroom "the man cave" so Phil can have his space to do retreat from all the girls sometimes. The new place is almost 1,000 sq ft and I think we will all be much happier there.

The apartment should be move in ready on the 1st of June so that means I have some serious packing to do. UGH! I hate moving! Luckily, it's only a few buildings down so a truck is not necessary. I am looking forward to setting up our new space together so it feels more like a joint effort rather than him moving in with me.

Also, I have been KSL crazed lately! I LOVE that website! I got Leila a bigger kennel for an awesome price!

She has more space to ponder life while she is sequestered inside her kennel cell all day!

And, on Saturday I scored some nightstands that are practically new. The guy selling them had a furniture store that went out of business and he used these as display models only.

Check em out....they match the bed perfectly!

My next search is for a new kennel for Sam. She is a escape artist and broke out of her fabric kennel while Phil was visiting family in Buffalo this weekend. She ripped the zipper so it's toast! :( We are gonna get her a metal kennel like Leila's so they can see eachother while still confined. I also want to get a shabby chic dresser and refinish it and my dresser to match the bed, and the new nightstands. Let the ads roll in....I am on it!

Phil says.....slow down! But, I can't help it. You can't pass up a good deal, right?

These are not really in chronological order but enjoy anyways. We are so lucky to have each other, our dogs, many good friends, and loving families. For any of you who are curious, Gromsen is not either me or Phil's last name. It's a combination of the two last names we came up with awhile ago.
